GRID SHOW

Solo Exhibition @ XL Art Space

2014 Installation: mirrors, sound, videoloop

______________________________

When an image of a space is drawn on a paper according to perspective theory, an educated brain can interpret the image as a representation of a space, but no one tries to step into the image.

Spatial installation consisting of mirrors and a video projection. The show is based on the black-and-white grid pattern of the floor of the space, and the visual mechanisms of perceiving space / reality. The chessboard pattern, theĀ grid, is used in perspective theory and computer graphics to make spatial presentations. The exhibition ponders on the ways of representing space in an experiential space.
